The Edgewater Hotel - Seattle

Overhead view of the Lobby

As I arrived at The Edgewater, the first thing that caught my eye was its unique location – nestled right on the shores of Elliott Bay, with breathtaking views of the iconic Seattle skyline and the majestic Olympic Mountains in the distance. It's not every day that you get to stay in a hotel where you can practically dip your toes into the water from your room! The Edgewater is rooted deeply in Seattle history, and you can definitely feel the immersion staying on site.

What is so special about The Edgewater Hotel?

Built against the backdrop of the 1962 World's Fair, this architectural marvel has witnessed history unfold as a beacon of elegance on the shores of Elliott Bay. Since its opening, the hotel has played host to some of the most legendary musical acts of our time. From The Beatles famously fishing from their suites' windows to Led Zeppelin's riotous escapades during their stay, the hotel's rooms have reverberated with the rhythms of rock 'n' roll history. This unique blend of opulence and musical legacy creates an atmosphere that's as enchanting as it is electric. Whether you're a history buff, a music lover, or simply someone seeking an unforgettable experience, The Edgewater Hotel stands as a living testament to the harmonious intersection of luxury, rock history, and the spirit of the World's Fair. Currently the hotel is under the Noble House brand of properties.

Location

The hotel's perfect location places you in the heart of Seattle's most iconic attractions. Just a stone's throw away, you'll find the futuristic wonder of the Space Needle, an emblem of Seattle's innovative spirit. The bustling energy of Pike Place Market, where the aromas of freshly caught seafood mingle with artisanal crafts, is within easy reach. Whether you're seeking an adventure through Seattle's vibrant neighborhoods or an exploration of its cultural landmarks, The Edgewater Hotel positions you at the nexus of it all. We were able to easily walk or take a quick Uber to everywhere we needed to be, negating the need for car (though the property does have valet on site!)

Property & Ammenities

The property itself is a masterpiece of comfort and sophistication, offering a range of amenities that cater to every desire. Immerse yourself in the lap of luxury with plush accommodations that feature rustic lodge-inspired décor, creating an ambiance that's simultaneously inviting and opulent. Indulge in world-class dining at Six Seven, the hotel's renowned restaurant, where Pacific Northwest cuisine is paired with breathtaking waterfront views. The inviting fireplace lounge beckons you to unwind in style, while the state-of-the-art fitness center lets you keep up with your wellness routines even while away from home. We also had a blast finding the hotel’s “Recording Studio” where you (or your group of comrades) can rock out while playing Rock Band (pictured above) For those looking to hold conferences or other meetings, their rooftop spaces are perfect for anything from corporate meetings to intimate weddings.

You can also rent guitars and record players to your room to really soak in the musical atmosphere.
